What makes a Mother’s Day celebration truly special? On the afternoon of 10 May, Mr. Song Zhanyong (AKA “Singapore Yong Ge”), Founder and CEO of Singapore-Sino Consulting Group, hosted a heartfelt Mother’s Day event at Yong Ge’s office — and nearly 20 women came through the door, each bringing their own smile and their own story.

One guest, a Naxi woman, came along with a friend in the midst of battling a late stage cancer. She shared that all she wants is to spend every remaining day of her life happy. Another guest — a lady celebrating 50 years of marriage — sat down and told the story of half a century spent with her partner.

These were the kinds of moments that made the afternoon feel like something more than just an event.

Yong Ge also pulled together an impressive lineup of guest contributors to make the day extra special:

1. Teacher Linda, with over 20 years of makeup experience, was joined by Cindy and Tianzi to give every woman a gorgeous makeover.

2. Teacher Ricky, a photographer with more than a decade of experience, captured beautiful portraits for everyone to take home as a memoir of this special day.

3. Teacher Abby, a wellness and fitness enthusiast, shared practical tips on staying active and healthy.

4. Teacher Michelle, the talented chef behind a beloved private kitchen, prepared an array of delicate pastries and floral teas that added a sweet, warm touch to the whole afternoon.

This wasn’t a typical Mother’s Day event. It was meaningful, it was warm, and it left everyone with a heart full of memories.
