On September 19, 22 single professionals from different walks of life came together at YongGe’s office.

Among them were civil servants, lecturers, teachers, nurses, engineers, scientists, business owners and professionals from various industries. One participant even holds a bachelor’s degree from one of China’s top universities and a PhD from a leading university in Singapore.

Looking at their backgrounds, you might have thought this was a professional networking event.But there were no PowerPoint slides, no KPIs, and definitely no business card exchanges.Everyone was simply there for one thing: to meet someone new and make a genuine connection.

Through fun and interactive MBTI activities, the initial awkwardness gradually gave way to conversations, laughter and a few pleasant surprises.

“What do you do?” slowly became,“Wait… you like that too?”

YongGe’s team hosts a Singles Mixer every third Saturday afternoon of the month, welcoming single professionals who have their own careers, lives and perspectives — and are open to meeting new people.
