During the September school holidays, Yong Ge’s team (YouCan Singapore Pte. Ltd.), conducted two sessions of the Children’s Public Speaking Course on September 7–8 and September 10–11, with more than 20 children participating.

The courses were led by Mr. Song Zhanyong, Founder and CEO of Singapore-Sino Consulting Group, widely known online as “Singapore Yong Ge.”

Through classroom discussions, speaking exercises and interactive activities, the children learned how to organise their thoughts, express their ideas clearly, and become more comfortable speaking in front of others.

At the beginning of the course, some children were initially shy. They spoke softly and were hesitant to participate actively. After repeated practice, however, they gradually became more relaxed and more willing to participate. Many began raising their hands to answer questions and were able to express their thoughts in greater detail and with more confidence.

Many parents also shared positive feedback. Some said that, compared with before the course, their children appeared more willing to express themselves. The children also had the opportunity to make new friends and develop their communication and social skills through interaction with their peers.

Following the completion of the courses, several parents proactively enquired about future programmes, hoping that their children could continue practising and build on the progress they had made.

To provide children with more structured and continuous training, Yong Ge Studio will launch a new nine-session Children’s Public Speaking Course. The programme will run from October 3 to November 28, with classes held every Saturday afternoon.

The course is designed to help children gradually build confidence in speaking, organise their thoughts more effectively, and express their ideas in a clearer and more structured way.
